Kick Them While Theyre Down or They Might Get Up Again
Jimmy Hopkins fighting Damon West and Kirby Olsen.
Fighting is a major aspect of Bully. It involves 2 or more students physically attacking one another until 1 of them is knocked out or runs away. Fighting is especially an important aspect in most missions, and the primary method of defeating bosses in the game.
Fighting can be initiated if Jimmy provokes a student through taunting, being in the line of sight of an enemy, or by directly hit the person. Fighting normal male students will cause the trouble meter to gradually ascent (under the crime Violence), depending on the time that Jimmy is engaged in a fight, while attacking piddling kids, female students, adults, and authority volition raise the problem meter to maximum (under the offense Violence - Adults, Violence - Girls, Violence - Petty Kids, and Violence - Authority respectively).

Motives of Fighting
The almost mutual reason is rivalry. Clique members will normally assail a member from a rival clique on sight. For example, a Jock will set on a Nerd on sight if the Nerd is the nearly the gym. Clique members volition assist another member if they are being attacked by some other student. Clique members are more aggressive when on their own turf. Nerds, for instance, commonly become along fine with Non-Clique Students just may try to insult or push them around in front of the library, and the Bullies volition shove a Greaser if he wanders out of the auto shop and into the school parking lot.
Fighting also happens when a weaker student sometimes stands up for themselves against a bullying pupil, which and then causes the bully to attack. Sometimes the reverse happens where the student picked on will assail the swell, just this is very rare.
Another, less common reason for fighting is jealousy. If a person sees someone they have recently kissed kissing another person, they will assault. This is also the simply way you can get two girls to fight.
Members of the same clique cannot fight each other. Under rare circumstances where two members of the aforementioned clique brainstorm to fight, their attacks will not damage each other.
Fighting Styles
Each clique and some students accept their own unique fighting style. Excluding Jimmy, all peds tin use a running strike with a melee weapon, which knocks virtually students downwards.
Jimmy Hopkins
When Jimmy showtime arrives at Bullworth, his default fighting mode is a boxing way using a relatively elementary combination of a left claw, right claw, and another left hook. When grappling, he makes use of a cross to the caput, an uppercut to the midsection, and a knee strike. He too has a running shoulder tackle that breaks guards and knocks down opponents and a grappling accept-downwardly followed past a serial of punches in total mount position. In addition, he tin can throw an adversary to the footing and kick them, or pin him to a wall and knee him in the groin. Although they do not count as individual moves, most of Jimmy'south attacks take a 'light' and 'heavy' version, the heavier being used if the thespian controlling Jimmy holds the button instead of only borer it. With training with the Hobo, Jimmy can unlock an "uppercut" which is really a charged right hook that causes head stun and breaks guards, a right leg sweep after a left hook that is unblockable and knocks downwards lighter enemies, a jumping left side boot afterwards a left and correct hook that is unblockable, an extension to his basic left claw, right hook, left hook combo that adds a right hook to the midsection followed by a left uppercut, a right roundhouse boot afterward his 3rd calorie-free attack that knocks downward enemies and is unblockable, and a left overhand punch afterward the 4th low-cal attack that is unblockable and knocks down enemies.
The gut slug, which is not mentioned in the transmission or an in-game tutorial, is executed from a standing grapple, and is unlocked after completing Gym ane. After delivering a calorie-free start punch, execute a heavy 2nd punch.
During the course of the yr, Jimmy learns various martial art and wrestling techniques. He can counter Russell's powerbomb, Hal and Norton's bearhug, and Juri and Luis' wrestling moves by repeatedly hitting a specific push depending on the version of the game.
He also has the opportunity to proceeds access to every projectile weapon used in the game, including 2 (the Super Slingshot and Rubber Band Ball) that are only available to him.[1] [ii]
Defensively, Jimmy can block near attacks by putting his arms upwardly and guarding with his forearms. As long as he is blocking, near attacks don't injure him, fifty-fifty those that appear to hit an unprotected part of his torso. However, some stronger attacks can break his guard - in other words, causing him to flinch backwards while his artillery are knocked away from blocking position. A few rare attacks go through Jimmy's guard entirely. Guarding isn't constructive against weapons. Jimmy can also counter some grappling attacks if the player rapidly presses a push button. The player is instructed to practice this during the boss fight against Russell, but it works outside the dominate battle and against other attacks.
When Jimmy has the bottle rocket launcher or spud gun equipped, or when he has picked upward a burn down extinguisher or the poison gun at the acme of Harrington House, he uses a 3 strike combination. He swings his weapon twice and so throws a kicking which knocks his opponent back a step.

Gary Smith
During the early on game, Gary uses the aforementioned flailing punches fighting style of the Bullies, although when grabbing an opponent, he can throw a straight punch to the face (like Chad, Bryce, Bo and Casey) or a knee strike. He blocks very often during gratis roam and has a large life bar, behind only Russell, Bif and Damon. During his boss fight, he uses direct punches, a kick to the groin and a human knee to the gut.
Pete Kowalski
Pete is not a tough fighter. He uses the fighting style of the not-clique students; shoves and weak punches. He tends to run abroad rather than fight. In missions, he cowers and yells for help.
Bullies
The Bullies are all poorly skilled fighters.
Russell is by far their toughest member. Wade Martin and Davis White are slightly less aggressive and have slightly less wellness than Trent Northwick, Ethan Robinson, Troy Miller, and Tom Gurney. None of the bullies bated from Russell are notably tough.
They use a brawling way where they throw two wide swinging punches, followed by either a boot to the midsection that briefly stuns the opponent (and if hit twice in a row, knocks the opponent down) or a third dial which breaks the baby-sit. If they grapple an opponent they will throw a gut slug that drops their opponent, sometimes taking them downward, or only pushing them back. If they grapple an opponent to the flooring, they will either punch their opponent, or use the face spit bullying motility that Jimmy uses, which results in an instant KO, regardless of health.
Davis has his own manner, which is used in The Setup. Information technology's the same as the average Bully'due south manner, but he has more control on his attacks, such equally throwing a single punch. Almost notably, all the same, he tin sprint even faster than Jimmy.
Russell uses the same fighting style. However, his massive force causes his attacks to do a lot of damage. He also uses a powerbomb from a grapple when fighting. Defensively, he is more adept at blocking punches than almost students, he cannot be grappled with (which means he cannot exist stuffed in a locker or thrown in the trash), and he possesses more stamina than any other character in the game, even the police officers. During his boss fight, Russell uses many Pro Wrestling moves. He uses a Back Fist, a Clothesline and a Double Axehandle in add-on to his usual Powerbomb. From a distance, he attempts a Battering Ram on Jimmy. Virtually two thirds of the way through the fight he either automatically tackles Jimmy and tries to put him in a Boston Crab which does continuous damage, or gets an automatic Powerbomb grapple. He always reverses human knee drop attempts during his boss fight. During the mission Complete Mayhem, Russell loses his immunity to grapples.
Russell has an unused mode. Here, like in his boss fight, he thrusts his chest out, which knocks most students down. He likewise uses the bully's punches, but they are more damaging, and the furnishings of each dial are unlike, with the concluding punch likewise knocking well-nigh students down.
Nerds
The Nerds are the weakest fighters in the school. Nearly of them accept smaller health meters than Pedro De La Hoya and Sheldon Thompson. They are almost guaranteed to never block and are very unaggressive. None of them use grappling moves. Earnest Jones is the nerd with the biggest health meter, whereas all the skinny nerds are the weakest of the clique, having life bars only slightly bigger than those of the girls. The Nerds will frequently apply weapons when fighting.
Earnest, Bucky Pasteur, Cornelius Johnson, Donald Anderson and Thad Carlson use the same fighting fashion. They throw awkward, darting punches, slap wildly at the air, and occasionally trip equally they push their opponent. Algernon Papadopoulos uses a very like fighting fashion in which he leans back in his fighting stance, whereas the skinny nerds lean frontwards. He likewise tin't work up the running speed to employ the falling push attack.
Melvin O'Connor and Fatty Johnson share a more effective fighting style. They employ a heavy slap, shoulder barge, abdomen bounce combo. In Scholarship Edition, they but use the slap and shoulder barge. For this reason they are considered to exist the toughest nerds, though they take smaller lifebars than Earnest. Although the fashion looks clumsy, the second-to-final move in the combo breaks the baby-sit and the concluding move knocks most students downwardly. In the beta version, the 2nd assail was meant to be a barrel slam, and the belly bounce was a grapple set on.
Preppies
The Preppies are all trained pugilists, and employ many styles of Battle. Unlike the rest of the cliques, when they fight they dodge and counterattack. With the exception of Bif, all other Preppies volition throw eggs when fighting from a altitude.
Gord Vendome and Tad Spencer share a freestyle boxing style and use their footwork to step dorsum to avert punches. They use a four hit combo of two jabs, and a left claw followed by a charged punch which knocks down most opponents. They occasionally use a heavy uppercut instead of the charged punch, which breaks the guard and can exist used alone. They volition use each of these punches separately, either jabbing or doing 2-hit combos. From a distance, they will use a shoulder barge, which breaks a guard, and a difficult right hook.
Justin Vandervelde and Parker Ogilvie utilise a normal battle stance and throw either a strong body accident or a jab followed by either two body blows (the 2nd body accident breaking the guard), an overhand correct cross which goes through a block and knocks anyone simply the toughest students downwards, or an uppercut stiff plenty to drib anyone. On occasion, they duck to avoid punches and counterattack with either the aforementioned uppercut, a body blow, or a low hard hook that, if successfully hit, will be followed by a 4-hit philharmonic (2 strong torso blows, 2 hooks) that stuns their opponent. Originally, they were meant to backstep just like Bryce and Chad after throwing body blows.
Bryce Montrose and Republic of chad Morris are the Preppy grapplers. They use a philly trounce defensive style, and are slightly tougher than the other four. They mainly apply a double kidney punch philharmonic and a straight punch followed past a low-cal overhead punch (both of which break a guard) while backstepping or crouching to avoid punches, likewise equally an overhand cross, much like the one Justin and Parker use. They as well employ what appears to be a taekwondo front end kick (except they take a step before throwing it rather than from a standstill) that knocks anyone down, including the toughest students - after hitting the boot, they practice some weird fists drumming. From a grapple, they volition utilize either a gut slug, a straight punch to the face or a knee strike - both attacks knock the opponent down - and if accompanied by other Preps, they will get behind their opponent and hold their arms to give the other Preppies costless shots.
Bif Taylor uses the aforementioned stance and style that Gord and Tad do, simply he is more aggressive and he more regularly dodges to avoid punches. He as well doesn't become knocked down by whatsoever moves other than the overhead dial and is normally allowed to beingness grappled by anyone who is not authority. His life bar is the 2nd largest in the game, equal to Derby's and behind only Russell's.
All Preps in their battle uniforms utilise the aforementioned way as Bif, Gord and Tad, only like Bif, they are immune to grapples and falling, and are a lot better defensively than their normal counterparts. Bryce is strongest of them all, while Chad is the weakest.
In boxing matches, all Preps use a style consisting of 2 direct punches followed past a difficult, upwards hook, a body blow that looks similar to the one Juri and Luis use, and a sliding punch from a altitude. They'll often dodge punches and counter with a torso blow.
Well-nigh of the time, Derby Harrington uses exactly the same style as Bif, and even has exactly the same health meter. During his boss fight, yet, Derby uses unique moves. He assumes the same stance as Bif and uses his combo in addition to all the moves Parker and Justin utilise, except that he uses the 5-hit philharmonic equally a normal attack (which means he doesn't need to dodge first to perform it) and he includes their uppercut after the philharmonic. He jumps back similarly to Bryce and Chad later throwing a body blow. Defensively, he uses Jimmy's battle evades and counterattacks, though the effects of his punches are dissimilar, and a unique block. He also has 2 unique punches, a rabbit punch and a mean left uppercut, like to the terminal dial of the 5-hitting philharmonic Jimmy learns from The Hobo. He is more often than not immune to grapples except during his boss fight.
Greasers
The Greasers are on average slightly tougher than the Preppies, although none of them aside from Johnny are a match for Bif and Derby, nor do they contrivance. They have three different fighting styles among them, all based on various martial arts. All of the Greasers except Norton, Hal and Johnny can punch downed opponents in the stomach similar to when y'all kick someone if they are down. Out of all the cliques, they are the ones that cake most often.
Lefty Mancini and Vance Medici accept a fighting stance that looks similar to Muay Boran. The strikes they utilise are hook punches, sometimes in a philharmonic, and a Muay Thai roundhouse kick. From a grapple, they employ a knee to the kidney and then a straight punch that knocks the opponent down. From a distance, they likewise apply a straight, charging punch, which knocks most opponents down, too as an unblockable roundhouse kick aimed for the kidneys.
The medium sized Greasers, Lucky De Luca, Peanut Romano and Ricky Pucino, use what appears to be a Muay Thai kickboxing style, attacking with a low roundhouse kick, jumping push button kick to the midsection which knocks an opponent backward, and a knee joint strike which can knock down even the toughest students similar Russell and Bif, while throwing out hooks in combos of 2 or 3. The medium sized Greasers are as well the only ones who make use of the slingshot for ranged attack. Despite Peanut really having his own stats, G_Striker_S, he was adamant in a way that he is essentially the same as Lucky and Ricky.
There is an unused beta style. Information technology consists strictly of Lefty's/Vance'south get-go punch, sometimes followed by the mid-sized Greaser's articulatio genus strike. Withal, this style deals more damage.
Norton Williams and Hal Esposito are the Greaser grapplers. They have a fighting style more like to street wrestling, making them the ii toughest members of their clique behind Johnny himself. They utilise a punch combination of a hook followed by a wide swinging uppercut. Both punches break Jimmy'due south guard, and the uppercut knocks most students downwardly. They likewise use a savate forepart kicking that breaks the guard, and knocks down anyone it connects with. From a grapple, they pick an opponent up for a bearhug that does continuous damage, and if it isn't broken they will eventually slam the victim to the ground for extra impairment. The bearhug can be countered by pressing a push button. If accompanied by other Greasers, they will hold their opponent'due south arms backside their dorsum to give other Greasers costless shots. When they accept someone pinned to the footing, they will simply dial them. Their front kick is powerful enough to drib even large tough students similar Russell and Bif. They can also counter beingness pushed, tackled or grabbed by Jimmy by putting him in a headlock and twisting him to the ground in a pin where they proceed to pummel him. They are both tough enough to survive a single body shot from the spud cannon, although a head shot knocks them out.
Norton attacks Jimmy with a sledgehammer during the mission "The Tenements". He has three attacks: an overhead swing, a swing from the side, and a spinning swing. While he tin't be dropped, he also tin't cake either.
Johnny Vincent has a unique fighting style. He tin can grab his opponent by the neck to throw a haymaker which knocks anyone downwardly; this attack can't be countered. He has a unique triple punch combo, consisting of two jabs - one with each arm - and a left hook. He will occasionally use a stronger variant of these terminal 2 punches, breaking his opponent's guard with the claw, and following information technology an axe kick which takes an opponent downward. It is possible to cake the kicking, but the hook must be avoided, and the boot will still go through a block provided Johnny is shut plenty. If the kick connects, he grinds his foot into his victim's caput and spits on it. This combo is powerful enough to knock out most Nerds with the kick lonely. He as well incorporates his fellow mid-sized Greaser'south punches, also as Lefty and Vance'south two kicks and charging dial. He has a sizeable amount of health effectively making him one of the toughest students. During the mission "Finding Johnny Vincent", he is allowed to grapples. Johnny has an unused stance (seen in Incorrect Part of Town when harassing Cornelius) and several unused moves and combos: A combo consisting of a depression front boot and a middle front kick followed by either a spinning back heel kick or his signature axe kick. His 2 power moves are a bound hook kick and a tornado kick.
Jocks
The Jocks are arguably the most dangerous clique to fight. Their attacking style is dissentious, they all accept larger than average wellness bars, and since the Jocks aren't oft encountered away from their hideouts it is common for Jimmy to notice himself fighting six or seven of them at once, including the highly aggressive and very tough Damon West. All of the Jocks use the same shoulder tackle assault as Jimmy (different all the other school clique members who throw running punches) and have grappling attacks. However, they seldom block, and do not have whatever kind of ranged attack. They display three distinct fighting styles.
Casey Harris and Bo Jackson use a boxing style dial combo, consisting of two hooks followed by a charged cross, capable of hitting anyone in its way; it deals no impairment to either its intended or accidental targets, however. All iii punches slightly stun the opponent. From a grapple they apply the same moves as the Preppy grapplers. If accompanied with other Jocks, they will agree their opponent to requite other Jocks gratis shots. At that place is an unused shoulder barge attack in their style, which deals a large amount of impairment and tin knock anyone downwardly.
Luis Luna and Juri Karamazov are the Jock grapplers. They use pro wrestling moves. Their main attack is a three hit combo catastrophe with a polish hammer. The second hit volition break Jimmy's baby-sit and make him stumble, and then unless he dodges 1 of the other attacks the third will knock him downwardly. In Scholarship Edition and some PS2 versions, they only throw the 2d guard-breaking dial followed by the polish hammer. From a distance, they utilise either a shoulder tackle assault or, most of the fourth dimension, take their opponent downward with a running tackle. They tin can use a articulatio genus drop in addition to the regular punch that other students utilize. From a standing grapple they both utilize the side slam. Juri besides uses a scoop piledriver, and Luis uses a move called a spin-out powerbomb. They tin can also hold their opponent, similar Casey and Bo do. Like Norton and Hal, they tin counter being pushed and reverse grapples. Along with this, they tin survive a white potato round, and are defensively more apt at blocking punches than all the other jocks, with the simply possible exception being Ted Thompson.
Ted Thompson, Damon W, Dan Wilson, and Kirby Olsen use a combo consisting of a jab, followed by an elbow strike and a jumping uppercut which breaks the guard, and knocks most students downward. They only utilise their left arm to perform the combo. From a distance, they will use a football tackle, which takes down whoever it hits and puts them in a ground grapple. The motility even works on characters who are immune to grapples, all the same, those characters will immediately break out of the footing grapple later on being tackled. From the basis grapple they will either genu drop the opponent or just punch them. Despite beingness a clique leader, Ted normally doesn't have a unique fighting style in the game, the just differences between him and the other jocks being that he has about twice the life meter of Dan and Kirby, and the same blocking chance every bit Luis and Juri. Damon has a very large life meter, and while he isn't as skilled a fighter as some other characters or immune to grapples like Russell and Bif, his toughness makes him ane of the most dangerous fighters in the game. Although extremely ambitious, his biggest weakness is that he never blocks. Their knee drop is identical to the one Jimmy learns in Gym 3.
Bob has a unique fighting style. His fighting way is by and large the aforementioned as the Non-Clique students, although he uses the Townie headbutt from a schoolboy press. If he's set to use a grapple from a standstill, he uses Hal's/Norton's bearhug, a straight punch, and a articulatio genus to the face.
During The Big Game, Damon, Casey, and Bo have a unique style, which consists solely of the football tackle. After performing the tackle, they grab their opponent past the legs and throw them into the air. It doesn't do any damage, however.
Ted has an unused beta style. Not everything is known about information technology, but he uses the same punches in his normal style, as well every bit the football tackle, though the tackle in this style has a minor blitheness glitch. The near notable things virtually this mode, notwithstanding, are his cake, which is like to the 1 Derby uses, in that he can effortlessly block any of Jimmy'southward attacks, fifty-fifty if they are powered up, and that he tin can evade any projectile thrown at him. He also recovers quickly from the very few attacks from unlike styles that can break his guard.
Townies
The Townies, including their leader Edgar Munsen, all utilise the same fighting style - a kidney punch, jumping knee, double axehandle combo, and all Townies excluding Jerry and Gurney use a clothesline, which knocks anyone down. Similar Jimmy and the Jocks, they likewise employ the shoulder tackle attack. In some versions of the game, all the Townies utilise the clothesline. None of them aside from Gurney and Jerry use grapples, although rather than standing grapples, they only employ running tackles, following them with a headbutt - unique to them - or a human knee drop instead of the punches everyone else uses. Gurney and Jerry sometimes throw firecrackers from afar, and tin can counter being pushed from a grapple, similar to Juri and Luis.
The Townie fighting mode is the most damaging of all the cliques, and they're very aggressive when fighting. For that reason they're considered to be the toughest clique. Nevertheless, their health, fifty-fifty for the bigger Townies, is about the same equally the boilerplate Greaser's health.
Edgar has slightly more health than Damon only less than Bif. All the other Townies are about average in toughness. Even Omar, the Townie 2nd in command, isn't any tougher than the rest of the Townies except for when Jimmy has to receive the key to the Chem Plant. In his boss fight, Edgar attacks Jimmy with a water pipe. His attacks with it consist of a running strike, ii sweeps, an overhead and an upwards swing. If he is using his style just is non holding a pipe, he cannot attack, but he has an unused counterattack. Due to the assail being in an unfinished land, the animation is glitchy. Nonetheless, information technology is presumably a blow to the stomach, every bit it stuns whoever is hit by it.
In Bang-up, the double axehandle motility that the Townies use goes through Jimmy'south guard, damaging him and knocking him downwards. In Scholarship Edition, the difficulty of the Townies was toned down, and anyone tin can block the axehandle.
While interred in the Asylum, the townies accept a different fighting fashion. They fight from a hunker with the Mascot's punches, and they will sometimes jump onto their opponent, wrap their legs around them to hold on, and then bite them. Jerry and Gurney were meant to take the seize with teeth set on as well, but this was canned.
Non-Clique Students
The Non-Clique students aren't aggressive and will nearly never offset a fight unless they are provoked starting time. Even if they exercise set on, Jimmy can sometimes cause them to run abroad from him by taunting them. Most of the not-clique boys use the aforementioned style, direct punches and shoves. Ray Hughes' fighting style consists simply of shoves, only his shoves damage even a blocking opponent, whereas the shoves other Non-Clique students utilize interruption the guard. Dissimilar the other cliques, the punches Non-clique students use can hit anyone on their way, even if they don't intend to. With the exception of Constantinos, Sheldon, and Pedro, they are allowed to beingness knocked down by any attack aside from the overhead dial.
Constantinos is as weak every bit Sheldon, and Pedro. However, when Constantinos fights Jimmy while dressed as the Mascot, he has a unique fighting style. He uses the bullies' broad swinging punches (but with the punches connecting with the knuckles), a field goal kick to the groin that goes through a cake, and a headbutt that as well goes through a block and knocks Jimmy down.
None of the Non-Clique students use any grappling moves.
The Elves use the same way as most Non-Clique students.
Prefects
The prefects never engage in fisticuffs and are trained in using a restraining technique to bosom students. They bust students by grabbing them at the back of their shirt collars and and so grappling them to the ground by the throat. Once a prefect has a educatee on the footing, he will keep them pinned to the footing past their collar. They will break up fights with a running punch before trying to grapple. Most students, including Jimmy, tin suspension away from the prefects, with either a shoulder clomp, a stomp to the human foot, or a groin take hold of. However if the student is in serious enough trouble (trouble meter in the red), the prefects will bosom them automatically the moment they gain a grip on them.
The prefects' ability to automatically bust someone, coupled with the fact that whatever attack on them puts Jimmy'southward trouble meter in the red, makes them nearly impossible to fistfight successfully. They are not allowed to grapples, and tin exist blimp in lockers and trash cans. They can also exist fought at range with the slingshot or some other weapon, nevertheless Seth has the ability to dodge bottle rockets fired at him.
Maybe because they are students, prefects have relatively moderate-sized health bars, with Seth's being slightly larger than those of the other three. Their wellness points were probably carefully adamant so that no unmarried attack could knock them out. The most powerful assail in the game, a irish potato round to the caput, reduces them to a sliver of wellness, but they remain fully combat-capable.
Girls
All the girls, both the younger and older ones, have the aforementioned fighting manner. It's very difficult to get a girl angry enough to start a fight with Jimmy, although beating enough people in their clique will make them angry. I sure way to make one attack him is to bespeak the camera at her while she'southward already angry or if Jimmy has bad faction. Also, if Jimmy sprays a tag which is offensive to the girl's clique, she will attack him. Attacking a girl causes Jimmy's trouble meter to fill instantly.
The girls only take 2 attacks; a slap and a knee to the groin, which deals a moderate amount of damage. Even Zoe, who is according to diverse dialogue a good fighter, but uses these two moves. Girls are very probable to run away after connecting with a single hit. They tin can also be scared off if Jimmy taunts or pushes them; they'll usually run away fifty-fifty if they were actually attacking if this happens. All girls share the lowest health meter in the game.
Girls cannot be grappled. They will automatically knee Jimmy in the groin if he tries, and then run away. They can be hit with the running tackle from backside, however. Girls can't be knocked downward past any moves other than the overhead punch. A glitch allows other students to grapple girls if they were aiming for Jimmy and grabbed the girl instead, simply they automatically and instantly release them. The but exception is when prefects bust them for being outside after curfew.
If Jimmy is caught past ane girl who he's kissed in the past making out with another i, the girls may fight each other by grabbing each other's hair. They'll do this for a few seconds and then run in contrary directions. The offended girl may take either a slap or knee joint at Jimmy, but she'll run away immediately afterwards, even if the strike missed.
If Jimmy gives a daughter flowers and then insults the girl, the girl will slap him with the flowers twice and then run away.
Adults
There are a few unlike fighting styles amongst the adults and townsfolk.
The male teachers, Edna and Miss Peters more often than not use the aforementioned busting technique as the prefects practise, simply different the prefects, information technology is impossible to grapple with them. The female Bullworth staff endeavor to bust Jimmy by painfully grabbing his ear, and if they successfully bust him, twisting it and hauling him upwards on his tiptoes. All female staff bated from Edna are unable to utilise the jab takedown or running grapple. As with male authority figures, Jimmy can escape with the shoulder clomp or pes stomp, as long equally his problem meter is not in the red. Grapple immune characters cannot exist busted by female staff, except Edna.
Almost townsfolk men always try a grapple and takedown on Jimmy. They pin him to the ground and effort to flag a policeman downwardly. Jimmy (or other students) tin can escape by pushing them back and then ducking under their legs. However, if his problem meter is in the crimson they get an automatic bust like an potency figure. Their running grapple tin take anybody down, but if they effort a bust from a stand up-all the same, grapple-allowed characters will contrary information technology.
Attacking an developed or any potency figure will cause Jimmy's trouble meter to fill instantly.
The men from New Coventry utilize running punches, hooks like the non-clique students, and grapple attempts. If Jimmy doesn't break the grapple they'll execute the same takedown and telephone call for authority that the other townsfolk use.
The two hobos, Handy and Krakauer, only take ane set on, a push where they fall downwards themselves. They can't grapple, and are much more than likely to run than fight.
All male adults, regardless of where they live or whether they are authority or non, will counter a punch with a slap or grapple attempt.
Fenwick uses a hybrid style. When running, he'll utilize the aforementioned grapple and takedown that the male townsfolk use. Still, from a standstill, he fights like a townie.
Information technology is possible to provoke a townsman into attacking Jimmy by repeatedly jumping at them. Information technology is also possible to make them attack if you smash upwards their car if they are driving. If they accept Jimmy down in front of an authority figure while his trouble meter is empty, the dominance figure will effort to bust the townsman.
Women volition use the same slap and human knee to the groin that the girls exercise, but their attacks are more damaging and they'll keep attacking Jimmy until he gets away from them or they knock him out instead of running. Policemen won't endeavor to arrest them for attacking Jimmy.
